Charities Blessed

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto Me.
-Matthew 25:40 (ASV)

I have an unswerving belief that we're all blessed -to be a blessing. With technological innovations girded by God's grace and wisdom, certain disabilities, illnesses, and hardships will soon be no more -hopefully within my lifetime. Therefore, I'm pleased (and deeply humbled) to say that a portion of all funds generated by 'Web Design for Kids (...and Curious GrownUps!)' will be distributed to the following five charities.

The Smile Train

The Smile Train is the world's leader in cleft surgery assistance. Being able to smile is one of the best things in the world. This charity gives thousands of kids around the world that opportunity.

Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House provides shelter assistance to families of kids receiving hospital treatment. My wife and I were blessed by the Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City as our son was born two months premature at 2 lbs 2 oz.(!) I remember being able to fit him in the palm of my hand.(He's now 12 and doing very well!)

Miami Project to Cure Paralysis

This is the world's largest, most comprehensive research center dedicated to finding more effective treatments for, and ultimately a cure for paralysis.

Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America. Each year the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.

American Foundation for the Blind

The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) is a national nonprofit that expands possibilities for people with vision loss. AFB's priorities include broadening access to technology; elevating the quality of information and tools for the professionals who serve people with vision loss; and promoting independent and healthy living for people with vision loss by providing them and their families with relevant and timely resources.

I've always said to myself, that if this company becomes successful, it will be a blessing to a ton of people. Even though Click Drag Solutions is not there (yet!), there have been a few big successes along the road. Success=An Opportunity to Give! (So let's start giving!) Below are scanned pictures of the first checks written out to each of the charities mentioned above. (It's not a lot, but it's a start!) It is my fervent belief that one day (hopefully not in the distant future), I will be able to write a check for 100X the amount of these initial offerings. Let's pray and agree together that this will be a reality!
